Dress Code

All Members and visitors are asked to ensure that they conform to a good, neat and clean standard of dress both on the course and in the clubhouse. The professional, course ranger and the bar steward will ensure that the dress code is observed.

On The Course

The following must not be worn on the Golf Course: T-Shirts, Sleeveless Shirts (men only), Vests & Football or Rugby tops, Blue denim jeans, Trousers with patches or holes. Tailored crew/turtle neck golf shirts are not categorised as T-Shirts and are acceptable. On the course Shirts must be tucked in unless designed otherwise for playing golf. Only tailored shorts/cargo shorts are acceptable on the Golf Course, and socks must be worn. Beach or football shorts are not acceptable. Golf shoes must be worn on the golf course. Juniors under secondary school age may wear trainers.

In The Clubhouse

The following must not be worn in the clubhouse:

  • Waterproof clothing, Hats/Caps/Visors, T-Shirts (men only), Vests and Football or Rugby tops.
  • Blue denim jeans are allowed in the Clubhouse if they are neat & tidy and free of any holes, rips or tears. Only tailored shorts/cargo shorts are acceptable in the Clubhouse. Beach or football shorts are not acceptable.
  • Appropriate footwear is to be worn in the Clubhouse, trainers, if worn, must be clean and respectable. Golf shoes with soft spikes are acceptable in the Men’s bar and Ladies lounge providing they are clean.

Persons not adhering to the above dress code may be asked to leave the Clubhouse or the Golf Course, by a member of staff or a club official.
