Broomieknowe is an easy walking course that is the product of two of the greatest names in golf, Ben Sayers and

James Braid. The former originally laid out the course with Braid making extensions later on.

Broomieknowe sits on an elevated site and affords good views of the surrounding countryside.

"Having just played Broomieknowe I can safely say it is in a wonderful condition. Greens are in the best condition and pace I have seen this year and the layout is very good. Lots of variety, particularly in the middle holes including some water, a couple of doglegs. Good food, drink and friendly bar staff finished off a good day. "
